IMMORTAL

Winter 2026 release

While filming a documentary in Ireland, reporter Madalyn FitzGerald becomes captivated by the mysterious history of Fore Abbey. She is especially drawn to a small, ancient chapel near the ruins, feeling an inexplicable pull that makes her question her sanity.

At night, Madalyn dreams vividly of the chapel, feeling an unseen presence that lingers after she wakes. During the day, she hears a man's urgent voice and the distant clatter of horse hooves, though no one is there. Adding to the strangeness, she catches whiffs of scents that are completely unfamiliar to her—aromas that seem out of place and time, further heightening her sense of unease.

As Madalyn investigates the chapel’s history, her obsession intensifies, accompanied by a persistent feeling of being watched. This sensation blurs reality and imagination, making her question what secrets the chapel hides and what it wants from her.

***

Raoul Keir, once loyal to the Crown, is now branded a traitor. Driven by conviction, he has spent months fleeing relentless pursuit by Henry VIII’s soldiers. Exhausted, he finds sanctuary at Fore Abbey, a remote monastery, where he hides among the Benedictine monks, adopting their routines and blending into their world.

Three months pass in the quiet routines of monastic life, shadowed by the constant threat of pursuit. One stormy night, Raoul is drawn to the candlelit chapel, the air heavy with wet earth and incense. There, he finds a young woman in unfamiliar clothes, soaked and shivering on the chapel floor.

Compassionate and curious, Raoul gently lifts her trembling form. As he cradles her, she awakens, revealing brilliant green eyes that pierce the gloom and leave him breathless. For a moment, they are alone in the storm. Softly, he whispers, “Who are you?” barely audible over the thunder and rain.

The young woman blinks in confusion and fear, taking in the candlelit stone walls and the shadowed figure holding her. Lightning briefly illuminates her face as she hesitantly murmurs, “Madalyn FitzGerald," her words laced with bewilderment, as if the name itself were unfamiliar or strange upon her tongue. The confusion in her eyes deepens as the storm rages on outside, sealing their fates together for the night.

The year is 1535.
